Yes, I've since been told that Veggie Tales didnt write it. If Danny Kaye sang it, I have to assume The Electric Company didnt do it either. Maybe its one of those lost-to-time folk songs. We used to have a similar one in Australia "Oh don't let the wheel of your wheelbarrow, run over the poor old man", which went on to include all manner of ever-more-complex vehicles
